The Group Head Office of the company is located Bangalore and consists of the offices of the Managing Director , the Finance & Personnel functions.

Coats India , the thread division, is headed by a President to whom report the functional heads - all based at Bangalore The Division's sales teams are led by Heads of Branches spread all over the country , typically located in the state or commercial capitals. Manufacturing facilities are dispersed at strategic locations through out the country to ensure prompt customer service.

Global Thread Supply India is led by the Senior Vice-President to whom reports the Head of Materials & Logistics function. Both are based Bangalore. Heads of the Manufacturing and Technical functions operate out of Madurai from where they oversee the mills in Madurai( 475 Kms from Chennai) , Ambasamudram ( 200 Kms from Madurai) and Tuticorin ( 125 Kms from Madurai ) .

Madura Coats has a well thought out and articulated business strategy from which flow the business plans . Performance measures are clear , objectives and targets are well defined and measurement systems help track progress towards goals. Information Management systems are designed to meet the demanding needs of both the internal and external customer . Madura Coats has clearly laid out policies covering such diverse areas as Credit Control , Safety , Employment , Environment and Risk Management.
